Family visits....

I am thankful to see my dad made it to Thanksgiving. He gave us a big scare in June.

He has had to make some major health changes ( for the better ). He is glad to see us all once again this year. Hopefully again next year, too!!

Love tags

Close up of the LOVE and its glittery LOVE.

I "stamped" love in glue then sprinkled glitter over it to make the shadow of the word LOVE.

All stamps are from The Angel Company.

I participated in a tag swap overseas ( Australia ). My word was " Love ". I really like how this tag turned out. I have to give credit for the glittery LOVE. My dh helped with that embellishment. I was trying to give the tag some POP. That is what we wound up coming up with. After many trials and fails, we finally figured out to make LOVE glittery and it stick and show up the card well.

Napkin rings.....

Sharing an idea I saw another blog. Handmade napkin rings. We all have those empty paper towel holders that we recycle. Why not upcycle them?

I might do this for Christmas since I am having health issues right now. I figured that I could use pretty Christmas scrapbook papers from my stash and some pretty embellishments. At least, I can use the measurements for the papers in lieu of burlap.

Christmas ornament idea....

I thought I would do this year.

There is so much for me to be thankful for this year. For those who know me personally know what I am talking about.

Autumn...

I love how changing a photo to b/w makes a photograph look totally different. This photograph was taken outside my workplace window yesterday morning while the tree was still in the shade of the morning shade of the building.
