College Classes

My brief summer break has ended. Summer classes ended August 8. School started this week on Monday, August 27.

I am taking Sociology this semester. In reviewing the class assignments and projects, I will have no life.

My other class Adminstration and Supervision in Medical Imaging is a breeze compared to Sociology. Believe me. This Adm/Supervision isn't easy either. The projects I have to do for the class is unbelievable.

I will see you back in December.....maybe.

Juggling my full-time job and school work AND home life is going to be a challenge.

Who said going back to college was going to be easy? I keep reminding myself why I want to get my BSRS Degree. The final goal.

One thing I do enjoy: school supply shopping. I have a great collection of 3 inch binders for all of my classes. Highlighters don't last long either. I go through printer paper like crazy.

Adulting is not fun!!!

Wedding Anniversary

Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.

August 28th.

Us now.

Mystery Trip

My husband surprised me for our 25th wedding anniversary. He made restaurant reservations and wouldn't tell me where we were going.

His instructions: dress smart casual.

After all of these years, he still surprises me.

He's a keeper!

Weekend skies

Country.

The country skies.

Over  last weekend, we had errands to run.

I cannot pass up taking photos of the skies and landscape around we live.

I am sucker for those blue whispy clouds.

Yes. I take photos on my iphone.

Guess how many I have on my phone right now?

Did you guess yet?

7,577 photos and 668 videos.

Can you tell I am a scrapbooker?

Car with a View

I captured this fabulous sunrise view from my car dashboard yesterday morning. The view was breathtaking driving in yesterday morning.

Mushrooming......

Using the Project Life App, I made the film strip technique for this layout.

I love using this idea.

It is so versatile.

The photos were taken at dusk our backyard after I came home from work. No filters utilized. The lighting in the grass was perfect to capture these bright white mushrooms.

Mermaid in pink

I decided to take a break from my class work last week.

I needed a mental break from school and work.

It's been a chaotic week or two.

I made another mermaid card using the Unity Stamp Company stamp set. I used a pink color palette this time.

OMGosh!

I love it as much as my other mermaid that did in blues.

Artisan Bread, Anyone?

One of my one favorite smells.

Fresh bread from scratch.

I asked our son to make some of his bread for Sunday dinner. When he took his artisan breads class in culinary school, my husband and I got spoiled with having fresh bread every week. We had all sorts of breads that semester.

Brioche.

Croissants.

Baguettes.

Ciabatta.

Focaccia.

Yum!
