Don asked what kind of cake I wanted for my birthday.

I saw this kind of cake circulating Facebook over this past summer. It is a Banana Pudding Cake.

It looks better than the original cake on Facebook.

It is sooooo good!!!! Don added salt to the recipe because there was no salt in the cake recipe.

Yes, they wished me a blessed " Merry CHRISTmas! " from the MD and all of the clinical staff members.

Cards for little girls...

I made these for my brother. He has some friends with little girls whose birthdays are coming up.

The first one has an acetate sheet over her so it will look like she in a picture frame with "glass" in front of her.

Upcycling a birthday napkin and used it on a card

Another November birthday ( for a close friend ). Tried to stay away from fall colors.

I upcycled an old birthday napkin by attaching it to a TH acrylic tag with modpodge.

I accented the flower centers with Liquid Pearls.

Birthday card for a coworker

I really like this Phyllis Harris stamp. She designed this for The Angel Company when they were still in business.

I did a spin-off idea playing with the butterfly already in the stamped image by accenting it with butterfly punches. I pinched the butterflies so they look like they are "flying" off the card.

I colored the stamped image with Copics.

The sentiment inside is from SU!.

My dad's gf birthday card...

Her birthday was the day after Thanksgiving so I wanted to use non-fall colors.

I love using this embossing folder. It is so versatile.

I am the designated card maker for our department for everyone's birthday.

This is a Christmas stamp ( the presents ). I colored them with non Christmas colors so it would not look so holiday-ish.

Fall foliage....

Our leaves are just now "peaking" in NC....

Our "snow" in NC.....Cotton fields ready to harvest!

I love driving by the farmers' fields full of cotton. It looks soooo pretty with the cotton "bursting" from the seed pods.

Besides the leaves turning in the fall, this is another thing I can't wait to see!!

I love it. I can keep this up through November, too.

God's Promise.....

I captured this rainbow at the invitational. The sprinklers on the soccer fields behind where we were standing at caught the morning sun just right to "make rainbows".

It was funny. Everyone around us stopped and watched the rainbows form all across the field.

With my hubby and I attending our son's X Country Invitationals, it is nice that we can have some family time there.

Don helped Joseph get his shoe tag on his running shoes for the run.

As Joseph is growing up way too fast now, there are still some Dad and Son moments to still enjoy.

Note: by the way, Joseph broke his PR ( personal record ) by 2 minutes on this run!! WTG!!
