First bread
This was Joseph's first time making bread.
He made Tsoureki bread for our Easter dinner. It is a Greek Easter bread.
We did without the boiled eggs getting baked in the bread and the beet jam that is suppose to be served with it,
He was so excited waiting for this to bake in the oven.
Our culinary student chef at work!
Christ is risen!
I really enjoyed how this Easter card turned out. A lot of detailed coloring with the stamped image. All done with BIC markers.
The stamped sentiments were both heat embossed with metallic embossing powder. The inside sentiment is SU!. The outside stamp is unknown stamp source.
Hoppy Birthday!
This is a TAC stamp.
I colored the frog and branch image with using only BIC markers. The frog's eyes and sentiment were highlighted with Stickles.
Frugal Crafting tip again.......
Repurposing your old plastic wrap/aluminum foil boxes to hold your washi tapes. Built in cutter, too.
Who would have thought about doing this?
A great way to transport your washi tapes to crops!!!!
Drape Fold Technique Tutorial
I am always on the search for looking at new card techniques.
This technique caught my eye yesterday on a Facebook cardmaking forum I am a member of.
When I googled the technique, the drape fold technique has been out there since 2012.
Where have I been? Under a rock?
Here is the link that gives good step by step directions:
http://www.starlightstamper.com/2012/12/drape-fold-card-technique.html
I am one that needs written directions. Videos are okay, but I have to write notes down.
Enjoy having fun with this one. I know I will.

My favorite....
Some of my favorite photos of us in the NC OBX.
Rodanthe to be exact.
September 2014.
Yep, we saw the landmark sites used in the movie, Nights in Rodanthe.
We fished on that pier, too!
Coloring mugs...
An actual Pinterest project posted actually worked...sort of.
They forget to tell you that you have to set the colors, otherwise the colors will not stay on the mugs,

Butterfly card
Frugal crafting 103
After sprinkling the breakfast cereal and cookie sprinkles onto the cardstock, wet it with a spray bottle filled with water until it is saturated.
Already starting to bleed onto the cardstock/
Food dyes do bleed onto your fingers!
After an hour sitting on the cardstock.
I used an old toothbrush to remove the food. DO NOT RINSE the cardstock to get the food off. It may rinse the color of the cardstock.
Hubby's birthday cake part 2
Before the crumb coat
The crumb coat applies
Viola!!
Cutting the cake!
The first slice!
Yum!
Yes, it looks THAT good!!!
Not strong lemon flavor in the cake or the frosting.
Hubby's response: I did GOOD!!!! It was exactly what he wanted for his birthday!!!!
