A Crafting "Ice Cream" Truck
I saw this in my newsfeed from last year on Facebook.
I think they need to do a crafter's truck.
Sell:
sequins
buttons
adhesive
gems
ribbons
twine
You get the drift.
Those little things we run out of at home when we need them in a pinch.
Simple is good
Dinner last night at home.
Simple is good.
No sauce.
No gravy.
Just pasta tossed in butter.
Sautéed broccoli.
Fresh homemade bread. ( Courtesy of our son in culinary arts school )
Fresh homemade keilbasa. ( Courtesy of our son in culinary arts school )
Enjoying the sunshine
Our kitties are taking advantage of having the windows open this past weekend..... Yes! In winter! A week ago we had a winter storm dump 6 inches of snow. The counties adjacent to us got 12 inches! Thank goodness there was no ice. We usually get ice and sleet first THEN snow.
It was a nice powdery mix. It was great for making snowballs and snowmen.
Living in NC, we can wear flip-flops and shorts and heavy coat and gloves all in the same week.
Have a great day!

Weather last week....
Winter weather in NC. We experienced a wonderful snowfall with Winter Storm Inga last week. We got 6 inches of snow.
It was a different wintry mix than we usually get.
It is usually ice and sleet.
I will take this.
Fort McHenry
During an emergency medical visit to Maryland, we had the chance to visit Fort McHenry. I hadn't been to Fort McHenry since I was little..... ~1977.
Not much as changed. Things look smaller now since I am an adult, but when you were a kid, everything looked humongous.
In the many summers my parents took us to Fort McHenry, I never saw a reenactment. It was neat. The cannon echoing throughout the Port of Baltimore.
Can you imagine the sound during the Battle of Baltimore in 1812 what it would have sounded like?
Peeling a pomegranate
For Thanksgiving, my husband demonstrated how to peel a pomegranate without the mess that accompanies peeling this fruit.
Plumber's Crack
My husband and son are replacing our water filter system in our kitchen this weekend.
Joe is learning a lot about plumbing....... even the "plumber's crack".
I couldn't resist the photo opportunity.
