My workplace hosts an orthopaedic lectureship symposium each year.
It is a chance to see our orthopaedic surgeons ( and other orthopaedic surgeons in the area ) speak on the different surgeries that they perform. Our surgeons really are great speakers, too. [Just a little bias! ;)] One of the guest speakers is one of the orthopaedic surgeons that treat the Carolina Panthers.
This year was on the treatment of ACL injuries. I learned a lot. I love going to medical conferences.
A highlight for me: some of the xray slides were images that I did!! Yippee!!! I am such a geek. lol
